5. Newsletter / Mailchimp

You can unsubscribe at any time: via a link at the end of each newsletter (with automated unsubscribe confirmation) or by sending an email to info(at)understandable-podcast.com.
Our newsletter informs you regularly about new videos and content on the topic of B2B marketing. To enable us to offer you this service, we use the technical service provider MailChimp, a newsletter distribution platform of the US provider Rocket Science Group, LLC, 675 Ponce De Leon Ave NE #5000, Atlanta, GA 30308, USA, which helps us to send, process and use your data.
MailChimp is a company based in the USA and, as a non-EU member state, is not subject to the same data protection regulations. However, in order to ensure an appropriate level of data protection, MailChimp has undertaken to comply with EU data protection regulations (US-EU data protection agreement “Privacy Shield”). Furthermore, a “Data Processing Agreement” has been concluded, a contract in which MailChimp assures to protect the data of our users and to process it on our behalf in accordance with the data protection regulations and in particular not to pass it on to third parties. We use the so-called double opt-in procedure for the registration process.
After you have registered for our newsletter, you will receive an e-mail asking you to confirm your registration (double opt-in procedure). On the basis of our legitimate interests (i.e. interest in the analysis, optimization and economic operation of our online offer within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f.
